Marco Biggiogero
Chairman / Co-Founder
Hands-on is an understatement to describe Marco Biggiogero. As chairman of AQUA Boracay, he believes that the devil is in the details, and is committed to every aspect of the business, paying particular attention to local government relations, business development, sales & marketing, legal, finance & accounting, aside from supervising other businesses here and abroad.
His extensive expertise in real estate development spans over 15 years. A licensed real estate agent by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, and having a Master's Degree in Real Estate Funds from the University of Milan and a post-graduate Master's Degree on Real Estate Evaluation, he honed his inherent skills in real estate business development, sales & marketing, strategy and management, and construction management in the field as director for the family owned construction and development company in Milano, Italy, where he also developed his own projects.
He went on to real estate markets, property management, advanced real estate consulting, asset monitoring, local systems analysis, values evaluation, portfolio analysis service, and forecasting, as project manager for Nomisma Spa, an Italian economic research institute in Bologna, under the Prime Minister of Italy, and managed real estate portfolios of Servizi Immobiliare Banche SIB Spa, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund Italy.
A serendipitous trip to Boracay Island in 2003 served as a catalyst that forged the way for Biggiogero's Boracay ventures, considered among the tropical island destination's most sought after addresses and property developments. He was Project Manager for Bougainvilla Corporation's two-building hotel called Paradise Garden, after which he entered into a joint venture called 7Stones Boracay as president for the development corporation who managed the local government relations, business development, construction, and sales departments, while remaining a major shareholder for the 35-apartment beachfront resort and condominium. Aside from AQUA Boracay, Biggiogero is the project manager for Novtak Corporation, which is a luxury development on Boracay Island's White Beach.
One thing you can be sure of is that everything you will love about AQUA Boracay has Marco Biggiogero's signature. As an active member of the community and himself a Boracay stakeholder, he is fondly referred to as an honorary Filipino for his good nature and love for the idyllic tropical dream lifestyle that is Boracay.
Marco Manzoni
Vice Chairman / Co-Founder
As Vice Chairman, Marco Manzoni likewise takes a very hands-on approach to AQUA Boracay as the development's chief civil engineer, in charge of construction supervision and material purchase, among many other departments he oversees alongside his partner and fellow Italian, Marco Biggiogero.
A self-confessed beach lover, living in Boracay was a dream come true, and AQUA Boracay as well as 7Stones Boracay – both of which were co-founded and developed by the two Italians, are the fulfillment and creation of the ideal residence for themselves and for the most discriminate real estate customers and investors. The integrity of its structure, design, ingenuity, modernity & style, safety and security will be his ultimate legacy, with the promise that AQUA Boracay is indeed the real estate investment of a lifetime.
Dmitry Zhur
Director for the Russian Market
With a PhD in Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Physical Technical Institute, Dmitry Zhur's career in innumerable fields has built a name synonymous with excellence and trust, among the leaders in Russian commerce, finance, real estate, government and society.
A born leader, his very first job was as a specialist in Higher Mathematics and Chair of the Moscow Mining Institute. This was followed by his first business venture called Processor, a company that invented, sold and distributed medical computer equipment and other scientifically advanced medical devices and breakthroughs that were way before its time.
His next venture was in real estate and trade as the General Director for ASCOM, a Russian and German joint venture for international chemical goods trading. As a master in foreign language, his business savvy flourished as his reputation grew among foreign trade specialists. At the young age of 35, Zhur was recognized among the leading businessmen and entrepreneurs, and Russia's top brass of business elites.
As assistant to the bank president and then Vice Premiere of the Russian government, V. Potanin, Zhur earned the invaluable confidence of Russian society's top echelon, and became an expert in organizing large contingents of delegates for various significant world events as the annual World Bank meetings.
From 1998 to 2008, Zhur held the position as Vice President for ROSBANK, supervising operations for the real estate investments for the Moscow government's Finance Department.
From 2009 to the present, Zhur holds the position of Vice President for the ONEXIM Group (http://www.onexim.org/), which supports Russian economic growth through responsible investments in capital assets and infrastructure projects.
